Happy Spring!

With each new season, it is such a joy to introduce fresh, seasonal produce into your little one's diet. Depending on the produce that is available to you locally, we wanted to provide some inspiration for incorporating fresh fruits and veggies into your baby's meal rotation. Whether you are picking up juicy strawberries from your town's farm stand, or hoping to offer more colorful veggies this spring, we have whipped up a couple of recipes for you to try. Just gather the ingredients and go from there!

Strawberry Baby Puree

1. Strawberry Puree

This first recipe is perfect for babies who are accustomed to purees and it contains one simple ingredient.

To make this recipe, gather the following ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup strawberries
Simply wash and chop the stems off of the strawberries. Pop them into a blender and pulse until smooth. Serve up immediately or chill in the refrigerator first to offer as a cooling treat! Store any remaining puree in an airtight container and keep in the fridge. You could also choose to place remaining puree into a popsicle holder and freeze to use later as a teething treat!
Carrot Organic Baby Puree

This last recipe is especially for parents! We know that parents of babies and young children are busy...so here is a healthy recipe to try that tastes delicious and helps you keep up with your sweet little one! You can alter many of the ingredients as noted below to best suit your taste.
To make, gather the following:
