Now, onto the recipes!

 Strawberry Puree Baby Food

Berry Sweet Puree

Strawberries are in season during the Springtime and they make for a great base for baby food! Gather the ingredients below and puree them for your baby to try.

Ingredients:

  • 6 freshly washed strawberries with the stems cut off
  • 2 bananas, fully peeled
  • 1 cup organic whole milk vanilla yogurt
  • 1 cup formula or breastmilk (feel free to adjust the amount of liquid until desired consistency is reached!)

*Simply blend all of the ingredients above and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days until ready to serve! This puree can also be kept in the freezer for up to 3 months and then thawed overnight in the fridge to lengthen the amount of time it will stay fresh.

 Carrot Mango Baby Puree

Carrot Mango Mint Medley

Both carrots and mangos are packed full of nutrients that are essential for growth and development, plus their flavors surprisingly complement each other well. Additionally, adding some fresh mint to the mix adds a little extra flavor for your baby to taste! To make this recipe, round up the following items and blend them until smooth!

Ingredients:

  • 2 long stem carrots, peeled and cooked until soft
  • 1 large mango, fully ripe and peeled
  • 2 fresh mint leaves, fully washed
  • 1/2 cup of formula or breastmilk (again, feel free to adjust the amount of liquid until desired consistency is reached!)

*Blend all ingredients until smooth and serve right away or store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You may also store in the freezer for up to three months and then thaw overnight in the fridge for serving.

This next recipe offers a fabulous pop of flavor with an extra smooth texture!

Ingredients:

  • 2 kiwis, fully peeled
  • 1 avocado, fully peeled and pit removed

*To make, place all of the ingredients into your blender or food processor. Then place into a container and store in the fridge or freezer. This recipe is delicious when served as is, or it can be served as a frozen popsicle to help soothe sore, teething gums!

 Honey Coconut Baby Food Spring

Honeydew Coconut Crème

This recipe is so smooth and slightly sweet that your baby just might think it is dessert! The best part is, honeydew offers lots of Vitamin C, Vitamin A and other essential nutrients.

 Ingredients:

  • Half of a honeydew melon, skin and seeds removed
  • 1 cup of organic whole coconut yogurt
  • 1 cup of formula or breastmilk (this recipe may require more or less liquid based on how large the melon is! Adjust liquid as needed!)

*Blend all ingredients and serve up right away for ultimate freshness. If storing, keep in the fridge for up to two days or in the freezer until ready to serve.
