Preparation Guide HiPP Formula - All Stages
All HiPP Baby Formulas should be prepared the following way, to see specific measurements for each formula please scroll down to each product chart.
1. Bring water to a rolling boil. Remove to cool inside the fridge. The recommended temperature is in between 104 and 122 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Pour 3/4 of the cooled water into a previously cleaned bottle and add the HiPP Formula accordingly. It is essential to always use the provided formula spoon. The spoon should be flat and not heaping. Ensure that the top of the bottle is closed properly and shake until the formula is completely dissolved. Carefully add the remaining 1/4 of the water.
3. Make sure that the formula is at the right temperature before feeding your baby. The ideal temperature should be close to 98.6 degrees, test the formula on your forearm to ensure it is not to too warm.
As a general rule, all bottles that are kept at room temperature should be discarded after 2 hours. Bottles kept in a cooler should be used within 4 hours and bottles kept in the fridge within 24 hours.
