We’ve used Holle for all three of our children -supplementing at first and then full time once I stopped nursing. Such a gentle formula and all of my babies have loved it. With my first child we initially used traditional formula from the US and the one thing I remember is that it smelled so different from Holle and completely stained clothing. That is not the case with Holle. Just goes to show you that the ingredients are just cleaner. My shipments arrive so fast! Have been very happy!

I wouldn’t recommend buying from this company. They didn’t package the boxes of formula with any sort of protective packaging (bubble wrap or anything) and the formula comes in cardboard boxes so by the time I received the package, everything has gotten destroyed and blown open. Formula everywhere. Total waste.

We just started introducing our 4 month old to formula. We had an opportunity to try this, and thought it would be a good fit as he is used to breast milk and this claims to be very similar. I was pleased with the ingredients, and like that there is no corn syrup, palm oil, and other unfavorable ingredients that many other formulas contain. My daughter drank this immediately and never refused it, which tells me that it is indeed similar to breast milk. He is continuing to gain weight appropriately as we combination feed and takes the breast milk and formula with equal enthusiasm, which I was originally worried about. This is a worry free formula for infant.

I found out about Holle formula on another website and can't imagine how hard it'd be to get in the states without Organic Baby Food Shop. Box arrived promptly in good condition, baby took to it right away and is doing well with this formula supplementing breast milk. Appreciate the site providing translated instructions. Only downside for me was how close to expiration it was when I got it, but maybe it's not possible to do any better.

This company has great customer service! When I inadvertently left our extra box of formula at home when we went on vacation, I sent an email to customer service late at night on a holiday. As as exclusive breastfeeding mom, I wanted a formula to have on hand just in case I couldn’t be around or ran out of my storage. I also recently started giving my Toddler the stage 4, for extra nutrients since he’s such a picky eater. I mix it in with his regular milk and he doesn’t notice a difference. We switched to this formula from traditional formulas found in stores as our son broke out in a rash from them. After switching to Holle formula we saw a significant decrease in his rash after a couple of days and it basically disappeared within 2 weeks.

My son had terrible acid reflux and gas pain with multiple formulas. This formula changed everything!! His gas pain became almost nonexistent and his reflux went drastically down. If you do the shake test it even has less bubbles that causes the pain. This is my formula of choice and I will pick this formula for my next child.

The service was excellent the formula was good- we are switching to the goat milk for our baby, the cow milk seems to be a little tough for her to digest. I was a little bummed that this company is constantly out of stock of the goat milk option.

My baby love this milk and my milk always on time.

The service was good, punctual and communicative. We are using this to supplement feeding as our preterm and underweight twins learn to breastfeed, and as my milk supply increases. We changed the twins to Holle Stage 1 from Similac Organic (which they were given in the hospital) and they stopped pooping for 5 days. While digestive changes are apparently normal for developing newborns, it was slightly unnerving as a new mom. My doctor didn’t have much comment about the formula, though he mentioned the reason it is not approved in the US, is that it doesn’t meet iron level requirements for formula sold in the US. The amount of formula I am having to give the boys, after a week, is now minimal, so I am not concerned with iron levels. They are getting enough iron from my breast milk.

My baby was so gassy and colic and nothing was working. We switched formula 3-4 times but no lock. My friend had me try this one and it saved us! My baby is happy and healthy doing great.

Service is always amazing. This was my second child raised with this formula. It’s excellent! There’s no added sugars. There’s not an American formula on the market that doesn’t have added sugars. Why does a baby need sugar? They don’t! This is why I’ve found alternatives.

The holle formula has worked very well for our son. He hasn't had many issues with acid reflux or anything out of the ordinary, but we wanted to give him European formula because their standards are better than here in the US. I had purchased this same product over the summer, opened it and used it once, and then left the rest in our pantry while continuing with 100% breastfeeding. Now that we have decided to start introducing some formula, I placed a new order for additional boxes and also emailed customer service to ask if the three-months-opened formula from the summer was still OK to use. I received a response back the same day recommending I err on the safe side and not use the opened formula, but letting me know that they would add a complimentary replacement box to the order that I had just placed. I very much appreciate the prompt response and generosity! A couple other positives: First, I haven't done all the research myself, but I chose this formula on the recommendation of a good friend who researched organic options obsessively. This one follows European standards and does not have the issues with heavy metals that are so common in American formulas, even many organic ones. Second, the formula comes with a nicely printed card and magnet with the preparation instructions in English. So user friendly.

Amazing company with exceptional customer service! We recently ordered 6 boxes of the Holle 1 because our daughter has been MISERABLE with both Similac and Enfamil. Unfortunately, when our shipment arrived it was the Pre version instead. I reached out immediately to customer service, and Joel was so great! I had opened a couple of boxes of the Pre because we were completely out and let him know the incorrect formula was sent. I didn't expect anything, but just wanted to let them know. He apologized and let me know that my 6 Holle 1 boxes were shipping out to me that day, free of charge, and to simply send back the unopened boxes of the Pre with the paid return label he sent me. So great!! The formula itself has done wonders for our baby girl! No more churning stomach, less grassiness overall and less fussiness because of the discomfort caused by the other formulas we tried. We won't be using any other formula and have already told others about how great it is.

The service and formula has been truly amazing! I wasn’t able to breastfeed my daughter as long as I wanted and that was very hard on me. I looked into formula and was very disappointed by all the additives in American formulas. I’ve ordered Holle Stage 1 twice now and my first order was perfect. It arrived in two days and was in great condition. My second box also arrived quickly but I received four boxes of the current formulation of Holle, which I expected and 2 of the old formulation which does not have DHA. I was not expecting that. I can supplement DHA but would prefer not to. Other than that, OBS is a great store and we will continue to use them!

Grass fed baby food is great

Our baby has some significant digestive issues and we have tried to supplement with so many formulas. I have exclusively breastfed my baby until recently when my supply dropped after going back to work, so I supplemented with this formula. So far, outside of my baby having some small issues with bowel movements, I like the formula (I would probably try the Pre BIO for next order, or the HIPP formula for the DHA factor, however I still much rather this formula than the American formula I tried before this). However, the experience with the company is what I have loved the most. I ordered from another company and had a good experience, however, the shipping was a bit slower. Another mom recommended this site and so I decided to place an order before running out of the other formula box I had. There was an issue with the shipping through USPS, and after waiting a few days, I reached out to the company. Not only did they respond quickly and addressed my issue, they kept me informed continuously through the process. I got a box with a handwritten message from the rep that was working with me as well. Holle formula is great! My little has a sensitive tummy and had reflux and it worked out quite well. He does get constipated, however nothing too bad and a little gripe water can’t fix. Happy with product! Service was excellent and received shipment quickly!

We have 4 month old twins and this is the first formula we’ve found that works! They’ve struggled with reflux and stomach issues after every meal until we switched. Their poops are healthier and less painful for them. This formula has a lot less crap in it like all the American ones. Even their farts don’t smell as bad.

We switched to Holle after doing quite a bit of research on Baby Formula. While a bit more expensive than American brands the ingredients are 100% better and after 1 week of feeding our daughter this her skin condition improved, her poops looked healthy and they didn’t smell, and she has been spitting up less. The formula itself doesn’t have the icky smell like Enfamil or Similac.

Within three days of supplementing breast milk with Holle Pre, my premie grandson was way less colicky and gassy. We used Pre for a month and half and then switched to Stage 1.
